Ratchet and Pawl rebuilt, new bushes.

Countershaft was okay, new greasers fitted.

 

Switch block made and in place ready

 

Belt guard hinge, so much for magnesium, try brass

 

Guard on new hinge, beginning of catch

 

Motor plate back on, cable clamps in situ.

 

New pulley, motor service under way.

Threads had stripped on left end, built up with weld, turned & threaded

Guard back on.The guard shapes the belt to allow slippage if clutch is in
