I was recently offered this lovely original Centec vice for my Centec Mill, so thanks a million Maurice...........
It had long since lost its cast iron base plate.........
But I just happened to have the top of an old industrial sewing machine handy, so I chucked that in the shaper and planed it flat, the rest was pretty basic, its great to have original equipment it just adds so much aesthetically, at least it does for me. Still needs a coat of paint, but its there and working. |
