This is the breakdown of the assembly. Most of this was amongst the oddments when I received the lathe, but had been squashed in a vice, so both the external and internal sleeves had to be skimmed in order to make it work again. The small top thumb screws were missing, these I turned to match what I think the originals would have looked like. Still to sort out are the springs which are missing, and also two small sprung catches that locate in the semi circular keyways to prevent the thumb nuts from vibrating down during use,they used to locate where the double holes are on the large thumbscrew.
